During this beautiful FALL season, I am inclined to celebrate the gift of life. As I feel gratitude for every wonderful moment, I also feel ………….
gratitude for the struggle and the adversity I have faced. I cannot celebrate the gift of life, without celebrating all parts of life. The hardships I have faced have brought me to a deep place of self-awareness, acceptance, empathy, and love—for myself, and for others.
I celebrate the gift of the imagination, which births all things into existence. Everything I see before me was once a thought, a dream in someone’s mind. From the chair I sit in, to the bulb that lights the room, they were once a thought in someone’s imagination, before they became reality.
With this in mind, I think of the amazing future we can each create for ourselves. Our dreams start in our imagination. As we celebrate our dreams, even before they are in our view, we bring them into our reality. The gratitude we feel for that of which we’ve created in our imagination is a unique gift that all of humanity has been given. We all have the capacity within us to feel grateful, no matter our current situation. It is within that gratitude that dreams become reality. And that my friends, is a reason to celebrate!
I will ask you this simple question. Is there a dream or desire that you’ve neglected? Your desires are the calling of your heart to realize your purpose. Take a few moments to create your dreams and desires in your imagination. Visualize them in detail, and in full vibrant color. Imagine how you would feel if your dreams and desires were your current reality. Do feel excited? Are you filled with joy? Do you feel like celebrating the gifts in your life? Align yourself to receive, and believe that your gifts are coming.
You are the creator of your own experience in life. It is true that unfavorable situations can come into our lives without notice. We have a choice to go inward, and find the peace that sustains us, and bring acceptance for the part of life we can’t control. It is then that we can move forward, creating the life we desire to experience.
Quiet your mind in peaceful contemplation. Feel gratitude for your experiences. And CELEBRATE the gift of life!
